Charma Ratha

IADVL Karnataka has achieved a milestone with the kickstart of Charma Ratha (Skin Rath), a display vehicle (Bolero) owned by IADVL Karnataka branch.

The rath was flagged off from the geographic center of Karnataka - Chitradurga (City of stone forts) by Dr. Palaksha, DHO on 10th May 2019. The rath will run all throughout Karnataka over the period of next 1 year covering each district, taluk and village.

Skin awareness will be done in phased manner :-

1) Health awareness through videos and pamphlets.

2) Targeting schools and colleges in association with Ministry of Education.

3) Organising skin camps in backward class hostels and schools along with health education in association of Social Welfare Ministry.

IADVL Karnataka is committed for social cause. It is the first branch to start such a program 2 years back and also the first to own a vehicle for such a social cause.
