IADVL KN COMMUNITY DERMATOLOGY PROJECT AWARD 2023

(Based on performance during July 2022 and June 2023)

 The award is aimed at all voluntary initiatives, coming from individuals or departments providing a real benefit to patients.  The project must fall within the scope of the community project focused on the patient with the aims to improve its personal wellbeing during July 2022 and June 2023.

The scope of the project:

• Prevention and Education: Prevention of Dermatological illness and education therapy for patients which can serve in providing Information and promotion of Dermatology.
• Quality of life and Comfort: Improvements in quality of life for patients [Physical or Psychological]
• Access to care and courage: Facilitating public access to care.
• Social insertion: Improved social integration for patients by reducing stigma attached to their disease.
• Training for health professionals: Dermatology training of health care workers, nurses, general practitioners

 Last date for application submission is 20th August 2023. The application will be judged by a committee of President, President Elect, Hon.Secretary, Academy Chairperson, Past President KN IADVL. Minimum 50% marks have to be obtained to win the award- in other words, this need not be given mandatorily if a deserving candidate is not available.
