IADVL KN Community Dermatology Project Award 2024

(Based on performance during July 2023 and June 2024) 

The award is aimed at all voluntary initiatives, coming from individuals or departments providing a real benefit to patients.

The project must fall within the scope of the community project focused on the patient with the aim of improving its personal well-being during July 2023 and June 2024.

The scope of the project:

• Prevention and Education: Prevention of Dermatological illness and education therapy for patients which can serve in providing Information and promotion of Dermatology.

• Quality of life and Comfort: Improvements in quality of life for patients [Physical or Psychological]

• Access to care and courage: Facilitating public access to care.

• Social insertion: Improved social integration for patients by reducing

stigma attached to their disease.

• Training for health professionals: Dermatology training of health care workers, nurses, general practitioners

Last date for application submission is 20th August 2024.

The application will be judged by a committee of the President, President Elect, Hon.Secretary, Academy Chairperson, and Past President KN IADVL.

Minimum 50% marks have to be obtained to win the award- in other words, this need not be given mandatorily if a deserving candidate is not available.
